Customize A Short Kids Play For Your Elementary Classroom

Kids get much more fun out of reading aloud from a script than from a textbook, but teachers have enough to do without turning stories into plays. I do that for you!

I have adapted several classic stories into brief scripts suitable for elementary classroom reading. These aren't production scripts, so they don't need props, sets, costumes or rehearsal. Stage directions are turned into Narrator lines (2-3 narrators per story).

Fairy tales, folk tales, classic stories--all in simple English that resists dating, and with lots of roles that can be cast male or female.

This gig is for an existing play, with or without customization for your class size. My plays already allow some flexibility. If a title is listed as "20+," there are 20 named characters, plus many group lines to be read by any number of kids (ideal for shy readers).
