My passion in life has always been writing, whether that be critiquing and providing feedback or writing my own fiction and poetry. 



I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Kansas, in which I focused my studies on poetry, fiction writing, and screenwriting. In the field of poetry, I have been published in three compiled books, five literary magazines and journals, and featured on four poetry blogs.



Additionally, I volunteer as an Associate Editor for the online literary journal, Bewildering Stories, where I assist in reading short fiction submissions. This includes giving my opinion on whether the submission should be published, rewritten, or denied.



As a writer myself, I understand the difficulties of putting your writing out in the world and even wondering if it is good or not. I'm constantly rewriting my own work, and with this characteristic, I am happy and willing to help others reach their goal of making the best poem to their ability.
