Look, I’ll level with you: as a writer, I judge you on your bio!
Don’t take it personally, it’s just that most media professionals receive TONS of submissions from artists, businesses, and entrepreneurs like YOU; those without proper bios, press kits or epks make their lives harder than it has to be. It forces them to do lots of additional research and usually results in them not taking you on, or posting your content. If you find that you’re hitting brick walls with your submissions — whether it's music to significant publications, crowdsourcing campaigns, or requests for business funding — a weak bio or press kit may be the culprit!
So here’s what I'll do with this gig: I’ll send you a list of questions – and you’ll give me answers with as many or as few words as you’d like. More the better. I’ll take your answers and create a succinct bio that you can/should/will use on all of your profiles, and press releases.
