Its a long and difficult road ahead with lots of failure. Still want to do it? Good to hear. This gig is to give you basic jokes to try out at a open mic. The material can only take you so far, its up to perform it in your own way. Once you get experienced enough I'm sure you'll modify these jokes and that's great. Nothing is more important in comedy than your own voice.
