About:

A story for a children's picture book is a very unique type of story, which takes the role of illustrations into the storytelling experience.

As a published author, writing coach and instructor for children's picture books (I'm on faculty at Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver, CO), I've read many wonderful children's stories, but not all are picture books stories. That doesn't mean they can't get there, but it helps to know what you've got so you can figure out where to go next.
